Project Studio Basics
Prerequisites
The only prerequisite for this course is a basic knowledge of how to use a computer.
Location
Classes are taught in our studio using the very latest audio production gear, software and techniques.
Schedule
Level 1 is one month in duration. It runs 4 times per year. See the schedule below for class dates and times.

History
The course begins with a history of recording, from 1850 to present
Tools
Discover all the latest gear and software you will use in your studio.
Sampling
Explore sampling fundamentals, then record, edit and program a sampler patch.
Synthesis
Dive into sound design and program basic synth patches.
MIDI Sequencing
Record & edit notes in a drum editor, a piano roll editor and a loop editor.
Recording
Capture and edit professional recordings in class with an audio interface and microphones.
Arrangement
Arrange your audio and MIDI recordings into a basic composition.
