01.05.2009 - Mixing and mastering begins on the new Album from Ravi Poliah

Precursor has begun mixing and mastering the new album from Ravi Poliah. The album features numerous guest performers and spans a range of styles from Hip-Hop to Drum and Bass. The record is targeted for release this summer. It is the follow-up to Ravi Presents the Iaphiles, which was completed at Precursor and released in 2007.

20.04.2009 - Audio Production begins on the new Album from Abstract Artform

Precursor has begun co-producing, mixing and mastering His Story In the Making, the new album from Abstract Artform. It is slated for release this summer. The first single, Summer In the City will be released in May. This album is the follow-up to Prairie Kid, which was completed at Precursor and released in 2008.

01.04.2009 - Precursor launches two new websites

On April 1st Precursor launched two new websites that represent our expanded range of services. The precursorproductions.com site showcases our professional audio production services. The intomusic.ca site houses all of our training, including online training which will begin prior to the end of 2009.

01.03.2009 - Audio post production begins on short film Roger

Precursor has begun ADR, Foley and Sound track post production for the short film Roger, a film by Kelsey Friesen and Michelle Ward. The film features traditional Chinese music and lion dance performances by the Ching Wu Athletic Association.
